(: Last night was GARDUATION NIGHT '06 and it was fabulous! I had simply so much fun and laughter to put into words. I just need to say MR CHAN is the funniest/best physics teacher! LOL I just teared so much from all the laughing!
So right, for those who have no idea about what happened yesterday, SIX PEOPLE were made to go upstage. They were supposed to dance according to the different music the DJ played. MR ARMSTRONG, MR CHAN, VICTORIA ANN LAI, ADELE GOH, 5N GIRL AND MICHELLE TEO WERE SABOTAGED TO PARTICPATE IN THIS. SO the participants were blindfolded and throughout the activity, the EMCEE quietly made each participant go back to their respective seats until finally MR CHAN was left on stage. POOR UNAWARE MR CHAN CONTINUED TO DANCE ACCORDING TO THE MUSIC. The best part was how the EMCEE imitated different voices of the other participants just so that MR CHAN wouldn't realise that the other participants weren't on stage any longer. IT WAS HILARIOUS! I'm quite sure MR CHAN knew he was the only one on stage but he just played along. How very sporting isn't it? I have to mention that MR AMSTRONG is an excellent dancer! AND VICTORIA was so very daring! The entire thing was interesting.
Well, the speech that VAL, AL and I made went rather well actually. (: AT least they desired effect of being inspiring was achieved? Some people actually came up to me to congratulate me and told me that anyway. thanks! The food for the night was average but the fish was GOOOD. YUM. As for MS IJ, (thank God Jieying went up instead. I would've died up there) WE LOST TO 4/1! (MAY I ADD AN 'AGAIN'?) Everytime we lose, we lose to 4/1. It's really not surprising anymore. We took many many pictures last night! And I'm very glad that we took a 4/2 pic and most importantly, a 2/1 picture! It was great seeing all my ex-classmates and being together with them again, EVEN IF it was just a few minutes. I must admit that EVERYONE looked fabulous last night. AND I PROUDLY ATTRIBUTE THIS TO THE FACT THAT IJ GIRLS DEFINITELY KNOW HOW TO DRESS UP.
I immensely enjoyed myself and WITHOUT A DOUBT, I'm going to miss IJ LOADS AND LOADS AND LOADS AND...you get the point. But like I said in my speech "DON'T CRY BECAUSE IT IS OVER, SMILE BECAUSE IT HAPPENED" What other way to end these excellent four years except to have a good laugh and enjoy each other's company once again? I am truly thankful that I came (went?) to IJ. I CANNOT FORSEE MYSELF IN ANY OTHER SCHOOL AND HAVING AS MUCH FUN, MEETING SUCH WONDERFUL PEOPLE. TEACHERS, FRIENDS, SENIORS. ONCE AGAIN I SAY, TO IJ! :D
ON A MORE DEPRESSING NOTE, I'M LEAVING FOR MALAYSIA TUESDAY NIGHT. I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT THIS. WISH ME LUCK. I NEED IT. THREE WEEKS AWAY. PFFT. HOW FUN.
PS. I'm looking forward to COUNCIL'S SEC FOUR FAREWELL and I'm glad that the councillors had so much fun at camp. THAT'S THE WAY IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE. *grin* I'll miss everyone lots. I'll VISIT OFTEN!
