OMG YAY! IT'S EMANCIPATION, LIBERATION, FREEDOM! (: O's are over! (like finally?)
I went to VIVOCITY with SAM, VICTORIA, AUDREY, HUISHIAN AND QIAN QIAN today. Even though I only spent like less than an hour there and I only got to see two shops out of the I-don't-know-how-many shops there are, I'm pretty contented. Firstly, I actually asked my mum if I could go out with them for once, AND SHE AGREED! LIKE HOW SHOCKING IS THAT! Well, no matter how short the day out was, it was good fun. We spent the whole journey there talking about nonsense, and that's how I like it (: WE WENT TO CANDY EMPIRE (which seems rather small for it's majestic name actually. I was kinda expecting a lot more lol.) and we then ate at Kopitiam. Well, everyone else had dinner while all I had was some chicken pao =.= not that I'm on a diet or anything, cos I had dinner at home. Which explains why I had to leave so quickly.
Yeah anyway, I had quite a horrible ride home on the bus today. To begin with, I had to walk the distance of two bus stops before I could catch 963 which will take me directly home. (even though the bus arrived shortly after I reached the bus stop) THE LONG ARDUOUS JOURNEY IN THE CROWDED, STINKY BUS WAS HORRIBLE I TELL YOU! I probably spent the entire journey trying not to cover of nose and mouth. Seriously speaking, the people on board had REALLY BAD BODY ODOUR >.< At least I had a seat, or else I would've just collapsed on the spot I'm sure. I'm pretty sensitive to bad smells. On a certain point in the journey, I suddenly felt something crawling up my leg, I swear. I got such a shock I practically jerked up and started sweeping my legs frantically. Well that was over. THEN CAME THE GUY WHO SAT NEXT TO ME, DOZING OFF TILL HE WAS PRACTICALLY LYING ON MY SHOULDER. One, it was annoying and so very awkward. Two, it was rather hilarious though I was trying really hard not to start grinning to myself on the bus and convince all the passengers onboard that I'm far from being sane.
SOMETHING GOOD THAT HAPPENED DURING THE JOURNEY was that some guy that stood directly opposite me probably saw everything that was happening and kinda signalled me to wake the poor exhausted dude seated next to me. I actually thought he was very sweet! OK, so he most probably saw how annoyed I was through my thousands of expressions and frowns, not to mention my attempt to stifle my laughter everytime the sleeping dude's head edged closer to my shoulder. It really convinced me that Singapore does have nice people! Right, I won't talk about how I actually caught the nice guy staring at me a couple of times even after he alighted from the bus, or how I ACTUALLY SAW A COCKROACH ON THE FLOOR, TO MY UTTER DISMAY. Which totally means that whatever was crawling up my leg, was probably that same brown, disgusting pest that was inching it's way through the bus. After a long 45 minutes that seemed like eons to me, I reached home at 7.20pm. Much later than the time my mum asked me to reach home by, but since she didn't say anything I shan't complain. -grin.
OH YEAH OH YEAH! I bought like two out of four volumes of FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST, THE VCD to watch! YESSSS. ANIME GALORE! I'm not thinking about how I spent $54 on that alone at all, because that makes me feel guilty. But it's all worth it! the dvd costs $40 per volume! I initially assumed that it cost $40 or $50 for the whole set. How very disappointed I was when I realised that I couldn't afford buying $40X3=$120. OMG IS RIGHT. SO I settled for second best, which is nothing less - THE VCD VERSION! :D YAY SO MY BROTHER AND I WATCHED FOUR EPISODES TONIGHT. OK FINE, I'VE WATCHED THE ENTIRE SERIES, BUT NOTHING BEATS OWNING IT. XD
OK MOST DEPRESSING TOPIC OF THE DAY: HISTORY. =.= DID I MENTION HOW WEIRD IT WAS HAVING THREE (instead of four) SOURCES, AND HOW THEY DIDN'T HELP YOU WITH CROSS REFERENCING?! So I had to rely on contextual knowlede, which I highly doubt is enough, considering the fact that I didn't study CHINA UNDER MAO which happily came out for SBQ. I think I misintepreted the sources also! HOWWWW. BYE BYE A1 FOR HISTORY? I HOPE NOT! I NEEEED IT! At least the SEQ wasn't THAT bad. As predicted, CHAPTER ONE CAME OUT! YAYNESS. But they asked WHY THE LEAGUE OF NATIONS WAS FORMED. OMG HELLO, my textbook has only 1 page of information on that? ZZ. SO I totally bullcrapped my way through. How very surprising. (NOTE SARCASM) The essay only ended up being slightly more than ONE PAGE LONG, and my handwriting was humongous (as usual). YAY ME. BUT I LOVEEED PART B! 'THE TREATY OF VERSAILLES WAS A FAILURE. TO WHAT EXTENT IS THIS STATEMENT TRUE?' or something like that. ANYWAY it was a pleasure writing it (: I wrote erm, 2 over pages.
AND WITH THAT, I shall end my excruciatingly long post for today, and hit the sack. It's slightly past one here. (sorry MARIE, I'VE LOST THE BET/CHALLENGE TO SLEEP EARLY ONCE AGAIN) HEY ANYWAY, MARIE TAN XUE LING I WAS DEAD SERIOUS WHEN I SAID I WANTED YOUR BIOLOGY TEXTBOOK. I have a secret interest in BIO. SSHHH. :D I STILL REGRET NOT TAKING IT. (except when I heard that BIO AND GEOG 2 WAS SCHEDULED ON THE SAME DAY FOR O'S. I WAS ACTUALLY RELIEVED I DIDN'T TAKE IT!!)
