I just wanna thank everyone who came down for my party, everyone who wished me and made my birthday this year such an enjoyable and unforgettable one, despite the current situation we're in. Thanks to 7B especially those who came down on friday, SSMO (for their loving support and Jess' uncanny present), IJ friends (who surprisingly remembered!), BEE CHNG (my darling primary school friend who remembered) and Julian Foo Beng Kiat for celebration after celebrations and present after presents love. (:
Party at SICC was such a blast for me. Bowling, talking and yeah just hanging around with friends, laughing and camwhoring. I WANT PICTURES! WE took so many pictures in so many different cameras I think I've lost track of what's in what. I mainly want pictures from these people: ELAINE (with the camera that chirps/squeaks every time it's turned on, YL (I think I caught you taking some paparazzi pictures of ahem me and someone else?), JULIAN (with your imba camera). HAHA I don't think anyone could forget how while I was bowling I accidentally flung the bowling ball backwards. OMG I'm not helping anyone to forget how loserish I was that day. -.- The chocolate cake from awfully chocolate was AWESOME. It's chocolate but I actually liked it! :D Then I had to head home while the rest of the class went out for dinner.
THEN, SATURDAY! Went for Christina Aguilera's back to basics tour concert. Must commend her for being able to sustain her powerful voice for 1.5 hours straight! The crowd went wild when she started singing lady marmalade and candyman. I thought the concert was awfully short with no intermission and no encore. We suspect that they're rushing off the europe for the rest of her tour. Oh well. The view was pretty good for the basic tickets anyway. So yes it's my virgin concert and a good one at that. I'm not an ardent fan of hers but I recognise a powerful voice when I hear one and appreciate it man. Kudos to her for her PRETTYFUL Marilyn Monroe-inpsired dressing. It was gorgeous. I wanted her shoes especially the pretty gliterry ones. OMG THEY actually had a small circus opening act for one of their songs, with the backup dancers walking on stilts, on the trapeze etc etc. It made me think that being hre backup dancer must really be such a demanding job! Imagine mastering all different kinds of dances and having to put in gruelling hours to work on walking on stilts and on the trapeze. EEKS, they'd better be paid a good sum. OK RANDOM.
Ok that sums up my weekend I guess. It's back to school tomorrow. *cries* here comes the stress again. OUR PW IS SO SCREWED I TELL YOU. >.< Enjoy youth day holiday youths! :D
